One small mood square for each day
A year in pixels is an annual grid where each date can receive one mood color. The compact format makes it possible to see the shape of a long record without fitting a journal entry into every day.
This version uses a separate date editor and a complete text key, so color is not the only way to read the grid. Leap years include February 29 automatically.
How to use this free tool
- Choose the year you want to map.
- Select a date with the date field.
- Choose the mood that feels closest, then apply it.
- Return whenever you like; the grid saves automatically in this browser.
Let blank dates stay neutral
An empty square is not a broken streak. It only means there is no rating on this page for that date. The pattern is descriptive and cannot measure overall wellbeing or explain a change.
